Sniggle »
Sniggle is the musical project of Luke Dawson. Currently residing in country NSW, Luke spent the last few years in Canberra embracing the lo-fi bedroom approach and quietly put together a number of different albums. This compilation is a small mix of his strangely hypnotic tracks, consistently minimal and experimental, and (apart from the the track “Jesus”) are sometimes reminiscent of the earlier singles of Blank Dogs and Aerial Pinks Haunted Graffiti. Assassins 88 »
Assassins 88 is a bass and drums combo from Australia. Their debut album “Go Go Second Chance Virgin” matches the simplicity of 60′s pop with the rawness of punk rock, all condensed into lo-fi fuzz. Described by the Rose Quartz blog as “young & dumb and pumping with hormones and cheap beer”, the album’s tracks are no-brainer epics that lay on the melodrama and pull at the heartstrings, and plays like a house party in a John Hughes film, making the Daniel Johnston cover at its end the perfect comedown.

Solaris was the concept album never officially released by the band ManKilled. This is ambient doom reminiscent of Sunn O))) and Boris and undoubtedly their best work. An epic trip into low end hell with thick and heavy bass drones and screeching guitars so sharp, it may give you tinnitus. This is the album ManKilled were formed to create.

McClane »
McClane (formerly Dead Baby Joke) was a hardcore/tech/thrash/grind trio from Canberra, Australia, formed in 2007 out of a mutual appreciation of Die Hard films and extreme music. Playing shows with groups like Give up all Hope and Rather Be Dead. All of the members (Julian, Reuben and Nickamc) also played in Inflatable Ingrid.
