Ex-Canberran Paul Heslin has already had a busy year working on new EPs, a split VHS, and also featuring on ‘Vox‘, the latest New Weird Australia Compilation. His experiments with electronic sound continue on ‘Chaque Jour EP’ (Which will be released next week). Shower is the first single made completely with processed sounds recorded at home in his bathroom.

Paul Heslin was originally from Canberra, but has spent the last couple of years abroad living in the wilderness. His experimentation with field recordings and electronic sampling came together with the release of his online EP Rubbernecker (download). He blew me away at Summer Vibes last month in Newcastle and will be playing a bunch of shows in Melbourne and Tasmania around March so keep an eye out.
