Post-punk jams with blaring electronics echo a psychedelic trip into some quasi Mad Max territory. Possessed by Someone Else haunting melodic drone is as baron and melancholy as any post-apocalyptic dream, and like the release itself, ends way too short.

Jonny Telafone

Jonny Telafone is a solo artist based in Canberra. Jonny Telafone has been writing and recording music in his bedroom for as long as I’ve known him. The following is his 2007 release “Magik”. A collection of Low-Fi pop songs that span the early years of his recordings.

There is dark nostalgic undertone that resonates over the entire album; suburban boredom, sexual frustration and the occult all make up the persona of Jonny Telafone. Check him out at Last FM here.
