Dominic Death is back with his second song “The Front Room”.  You might know him from Party-Punch band ”The Fighting League”, or as the self confessed “King of Canberra”.  This is a much more modest and restrained DD, with folky/country songwriting and melodic hooks. He is currently writing for an albums worth of songs so while you hold your breath you should check out the above video courtesy of Birds Love Fighting Records from the “Danger Beach” launch in July.

Dominic Shanahan, best known as the charismatic lead singer of The Fighting League, has launched his solo side project/alter ego Dominic Death. Foregoing the bells and whistles of a full band, Dominic Death creates introspective ballads that come across as a kind of folk-punk somewhere between Billy Bragg and Elvis Costello. “River of Gold” proves that Dominic can howl with the best of them.
