DREAM DAMAGE
Canberra’s finally hit its crossroads and the people are getting run down by the traffic. Faint-hearted yuppies marauding for Melbourne or craving El Dorado in Sydney punish the prospects of our fledgling scene. Here there ain’t no back in the day and there aint no here and now, so people usually either fall on their swords or just go with the flow. One of the best things that comes out of nothing is music for music’s sake and the necessary return to good, honest song writing that invokes the latent energy of a small and under appreciated town.
There’s no leaching off scenes here cause they don’t exist and running with the pack somewhere else remains an option for those bands who aren’t worth their salt. Keep the music clean of that kind of compromise and you stumble across the raw energy of bands that play how they really want to play. Dream Damage is this collective of like-minded musicians and the beginnings of a genuine musical community.
Dream Damage is an MP3 blog and an independently run music label. This site includes the music blog home page, the labels artist page and our online store where you can pick up physical and digital releases of our artists music.
